Our Core Commitments
- You remain the owner of your voice and conversations
- We do not sell personal data

Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
If you purchase a subscription, payment details are handled by our payment provider (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe). We never store full payment card information.
Voice, Audio & Conversation Data
When you use Verbly's speaking features:
- Your voice is captured and processed using Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
- AI responses may be generated using Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Spoken replies may be produced using Text-to-Speech (TTS)
Important:
- • Audio data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- • Recordings are stored only if you explicitly choose to save them
- • Unsaved audio may be processed temporarily and then discarded
- • You may delete any saved recording at any time
Learning & Performance Data
We may generate:
- Language proficiency feedback
- Speaking analysis reports
- Progress indicators
These are tied to your account and exist solely to support your learning.
Usage & Analytics Data
We collect limited, anonymized usage information such as feature usage, session length, and app performance metrics.
This data is aggregated, cannot identify you personally, and helps improve product quality.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- • Provide AI-powered speaking practice
- • Generate feedback and learning reports
- • Maintain and improve Verbly
- • Manage subscriptions and billing
- • Communicate service-related updates
We do NOT:
- • Sell personal data
- • Use voice data for advertising
- • Share data with data brokers
- • Train public or third-party AI models using your recordings without explicit consent
AI & Third-Party Processing
Verbly relies on trusted third-party infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, AI processing, payments).
- These providers act as data processors, not owners
- They are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes
- Data is processed only to deliver Verbly's functionality
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary:
Account data
While your account is active
Voice recordings
Only if you save them
Deleted data
Permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe
Legal/billing records
Retained only as required by law
